Bureo + Jenga Ocean is the first board game made from 100% recycled fishing nets. Each Jenga Ocean set is made from over 25 square feet of nets proudly sourced through Bureo’s Net Positiva recycling program. Featuring threatened marine animal blocks, players are encouraged to ‘Save the Animals’ through special edition rules. All packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable.
Discarded fishing nets make up an estimated 10% of plastic pollution in the ocean, and have been found to be four times more harmful than all other forms of plastic pollution. Floating the oceans ensnaring everything from small fish and crustaceans to endangered turtles and whales. Meaning “waves” in Chilean, Bureo creates positive from pollution by designing and manufacturing a unique line of sustainable lifestyle products sourced from recycled fishing nets. Providing a tangible solution to prevent this harmful material from entering our oceans.
