Provides housing & support for LGBTQ youth
The Allegro Coffee 2020 Pride Blend is currently available. Light roasted with flavors of Citrus, Sweet Cream and Strawberry Jam. This limited edition blend is more than just a delicious coffee. It’s part of Allegro’s ongoing dedication to helping and building community. This year’s Pride Blend donates to the Ali Forney Center, an New York based organization committed to helping LGBTQ homeless youth across the country.
Assisting nearly 1,400 youths per year through their 24-hour Drop-In Center, Ali Forney Center’s mission is to provide LGBTQ young people with housing and a continuum of support services to help prepare them for independent living. Through the Making Coffee Matter program, Allegro produces seasonal coffee blends that drive funding and awareness for a variety of non-profit.
In honor of Pride 2020, Allegro is donating $10,000 to support the Ali Forney Center’s Learning, Employment, Advancement and Placement program, which provides stipends and internships to increase engagement and success in the program.
