These statistics were the driving force behind SOLO Eyewear, who creates environmentally responsible sunglasses that restore vision for people in need. Their mantra: one idea, one person, one action can change the world.
For each pair of SOLOs purchased, 10% of profits go toward eye exams, prescription eyeglasses, and sight saving eye surgeries to people in need, in partnership with Restoring Vision. In addition, SOLO utilizes recycled and repurposed materials in the construction of its eyewear, saving hundreds of pounds of virgin plastic from being produced each year.
