The combination of 72% dark snacking chocolate pieces with 100% organic pistachio chunks and a hint of sea salt make for an irresistible snack, that supports sustainable farming practices.
It’s an unfortunate fact that much of the chocolate bought today is a product of child labor. Approximately two-thirds of the world’s cocoa supply comes from West Africa, where more than 2 million children labor in cacao-growing regions under dangerous conditions. And while some of the biggest and best-known brands have committed to eliminating child labor from their cocoa supply chains over the past 20 years, deadlines for doing so continue to come and go without this goal being met. Fair Trade is helping to address the problem with child labor practices, making cacao farming safer and more sustainable in the growing regions of West Africa and beyond.
Five North Chocolate is also the first brand ever to feature the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce seal on their packaging.
