The NAACP legal defense and education fund is an offshoot of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People established by Thurgood Marshall. Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to achieve racial justice and equality for all. Ultimately with the mission to achieve a more inclusive society.
With America at the breaking point, and in the midst of the BlackLivesMatter movement, their cause is as worthwhile as ever. The current turbulent political landscape has led to a country divided and a retrenchment in progress made over the past half-century on the civil rights front.
Donations to the LDF help fund their ongoing efforts to achieve the structural changes necessary for democracy. And, to fulfill the promise of equality for all Americans.
