Bringing clean water to people in developing countries
charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries. Today, 1 in 10 people around the world lack access to safe sources of water. That’s roughly 785 million people without access to clean sanitation or drinking water. Since 2006, charity: water has been on a mission to solve this water crisis and reinvent charity for a new generation.
By partnering with experienced local organizations around the world, charity: water is able to help build sustainable, community-owned water and sanitation projects for those who need it most. Every water project is shared publicly via photos and GPS coordinates allowing anyone who donates the ability to find and track funded projects. And since all charity: water operating costs are covered by private donors, 100% of your donations go to funding clean water projects.
