A now famous story, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in an Argentine village in 2006, and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS, an apparel company committed to helping children in need by donating a pair of new shoes for every one sold.
To date, TOMS has given away more than 86 million pairs of shoes to children in need around the world. They also support sustainable futures in the regions where they give by establishing manufacturing and production in order to help build industry and create jobs.
