Igloo RECOOL Compostable Cooler
Everyone knows that Styrofoam is horrible for the planet and your health, with styrene (the main ingredient in Styrofoam) recently linked as a possible human carcinogen. While the days of Styrofoam shipping/packaging materials and fast food containers are quickly fading in the rearview mirror, one widely-used product that continues to hold its place in infamy is the foam cooler. Luckily, insulation experts Igloo look to change that with their new RECOOL Compostable Cooler. The world’s first cooler made from biodegradable materials, the RECOOL is an environmentally friendly alternative to harmful foam coolers. Made out of organic molded pulp, RECOOL is strong enough to carry up to 75lbs, and hold ice for up to 12 hours or water without leaking for up to 5 days. The perfect easily-packable, reusable cooler for getting out into nature, without the impact.
