Our oceans are literally overflowing with trash. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a giant Texas-sized garbage vortex floating in the Pacific Ocean, continues to grow in size daily. This spinning mass of garbage is comprised mostly of plastics — with discarded fishing nets and gear accounting for 46 percent of the trash. Born from the plight of this oceanic pollution, Bureo creates positive from pollution by designing and manufacturing a unique line of sustainable lifestyle products sourced from recycled fishing nets.
